內容簡介

繼先前貝姆晚期錄音23CD套裝之後，DG再度隆重推出1953-1972年偉大錄音集17CD，收錄包括最受後世尊崇的莫札特作品，以及貝多芬、舒伯特、布拉姆斯、理查‧史特特勞斯、海頓及馬勒等，都是他最具代表性的錄音。內頁解說找來經常幫柏林愛樂擔任音樂會導聆的Helge Grünewald博士，並附多禎貝姆珍貴照片，更添收藏價值。;● 收錄超過一世紀以上的紐約愛樂錄音作品。
● 包含二十四份錄音首度以CD數位轉錄、十三份首度獲得授權許可發行之曲目內容。
● 重量級指揮陣容：巴畢羅里、伯恩斯坦、布列茲、祖賓梅塔、史特朗斯基、托斯卡尼尼等人。
這份65CD的紀念套裝中，有二十四份錄音是首度以CD的方式呈現，也就是世界首度數位轉錄，其中更有十三份是首度獲得授權許可發行，等於是在CD時代之前也未曾有過的發行。這整套錄音前後包含了超過一個世紀以上的紐約愛樂錄音作品，其中最早的錄音是接任馬勒的指揮家史特朗斯基（Josef Stransky）在1917年指揮錄下的，這之後我們會聽到一連串包括指揮家布魯諾．華爾特（Bruno Walter）、伯恩斯坦（Leonard Bernstein）、布列茲（Pierre Boulez）等紐約愛樂音樂總監之拿手曲目，也欣賞到他們獨門的詮釋風格，跟著這套錄音的回顧，史無前例地見證紐約愛樂百年來的蛻變與演化。
